What is White Light AC?
White Light AC (White Light Anti-Cheat) is a forensic PC check for FiveM and GTA V communities. Server staff issue a one-time PIN, the player runs the White Light AC Scanner, and staff review a detailed report of what is — and was — on the machine.
Is the scanner available to download?
Not publicly yet — it is coming soon. Request access and we will get back to you when your community can be onboarded.
Does the scan change anything on the player’s PC?
No. The scan is read-only. It never modifies, deletes or quarantines anything, and it never uploads file contents.
What data is collected?
System identity, running software, FiveM / GTA V files, file names and hashes, execution history, tamper signals, hardware and game account IDs. No passwords, browser data, messages, Discord tokens or personal files. The full list is on the Privacy page.
Can a player fake a clean result?
The verdict shown to staff is not taken from the player’s machine. The server re-scores every uploaded report itself, so a tampered client verdict is ignored. Attempts to hide evidence — stopped services, cleared logs, a recreated USN journal — are themselves reported.
Why does the scanner ask for administrator rights?
Windows only exposes Prefetch, BAM, the Security event log, the USN journal and Defender data to administrators. Without admin rights the scanner still runs, but the report is clearly labelled “partial coverage”.
Who can see the reports?
The full report is visible only to the staff of the community that issued the PIN. When a player is checked again or looked up, staff of other White Light AC communities see a summary of earlier checks of the same PC or game accounts — date, community, result, what failed and the Windows install date — plus any player flags. This helps communities spot repeat offenders and resets right before a check.
How does licensing work?
Access is time-limited. You redeem a license key in the Portal, and keys stack — redeeming another key extends your access. Pricing will be published soon.
Which games are supported?
White Light AC is built for FiveM and GTA V. Many checks (execution history, tampering, kernel drivers, DMA hardware) are game-agnostic.
How are new cheats detected?
Signatures are maintained centrally. Scanners pull the newest signature set before every online scan, so detections improve without players updating anything.
