How it works
From PIN to proof in minutes
A White Light AC check is designed around how FiveM staff already work: you ask for a check, the player runs it, you get the evidence.

Issue a scan PIN
Create a one-time 8-character PIN for the player you want to check and send it to them. PINs are single-use and expire.

The player runs the scanner
The player opens White Light AC Scanner, enters the PIN, and the read-only forensic scan runs and uploads automatically.

Review the report
Staff open the report in the Portal: verdict, risk score, severity-ranked findings, execution timeline, linked accounts and hardware ID.

Staff mode for live checks
Running a check while you watch? Staff can sign in to White Light AC Scanner with their Portal account instead of using a PIN, and the results are shown directly in the app.
Administrator rights
The scanner requests administrator rights so it can read Prefetch, BAM, the Security log, the USN journal and Defender data. Without them it still runs, but the report is clearly labelled partial coverage.

Security
Designed against tampering
- The server re-scores every upload with its own scoring rules — the client’s verdict is never trusted.
- Scan PINs are single-use, expire, and are rate-limited.
- Evidence from untrusted machines is rendered as plain text only, so it can’t inject script into your Portal.
- Portal passwords are hashed with scrypt; sessions use HttpOnly, SameSite=Strict cookies.
- Every security-relevant action is written to an audit log.
